A common question to us in Tributosaurus, when we’ve been spotted out in the wild (or the crowd), is this: “who is your favorite artist to perform?”

We have a wide array of answers.  Tastes are varied, memories of these last 20 years numerous. But we all agree that one of the absolute most fun, most challenging, most thrilling artists to become is one we haven’t done in a long time.  One whose legacy is unquestioned, whose catalog is nearly unmatched in depth and greatness.

Stevie Wonder.

Join us on Thursday February 9 and Friday February 10 at Martyrs for 2 special nights as Tributosaurus becomes Stevie Wonder. It’s been a while, and we’re pumped.

A child genius whose early teenage era is the stuff of legend, Stevie fully bloomed under a revised Motown record contract that allowed him full artistic control, beginning with his 14th (!!) album, Music Of My Mind. He played every instrument on every track, with a couple minor exceptions.  Thus began a run of excellence that is nearly unrivaled.

Talking Book.  Innervisions. Fulfillingness’ First Finale. Songs in the Key Of Life. Classics, every one, with incredible songs you know and will feel lovingly recreated with passion at Martyrs.  We’ll have everything we need to deliver the goods: multiple guest vocalists, horns, synthesizers, chromatic harmonica, a killer set list that draws heavily from the classic period

The one thing we can’t provide is you.  Bring yourselves, please. It’s gonna be a party.
